Emmegi srl becomes Espia srl, a company focused on web solutions, security and networking. azienda specializzata nelle soluzioni web e nella realizzazione di reti e sistemi di sicurezza. Espia management soon understands the potential of the first voice communications tools via PC and decides to invest in VoIP research, focusing on innovative products. Permanent collaboration agreements are signed with Italian Universities such as Milan Politecnico and Cassino University and strong partnerships are based with international vendors
2002 development of new VoIP products based on opensource platform
2003 Under VoiSmart trademark new products with outstanding performances and low cost are brought to the market: IP PBX, IP Phone, Wifi Phone, Routing, Voicemail, Crossoffice. VoiSmart products are in SMAU, the first ICT Italian Fair and they get the interest of resellers and dealers. VoiSmart starts working on an advanced-telephone-platform where VoiSmart products and new services on traffic management and communication quality can meet in order to become a complete solution
2004 Important supply contracts with Italian and international resellers are signed and Espia thinks of development plans for dealers. In particolar, Espia’s attention is addressed to:
Telephone service Providers with Carrier Grade solutions in a VoIP environment;
Corporate Companies and Public Authority with fully developed VoIP products for specific needs ;
Telephone systems installers with a wide range of VoIP machines and a long term experience in integration with the existing tools;
• Assemblers with brand new 100% Asterisk compatible interfaces and a fully open source approach.
2006 VoiSmart presents two revolutionary products: VoiSmart Orchestra e VoiSmart Traffic Shaper. They are the result of important investment plans and field experience and succeed in overcoming some of the most critical elements of VoIP technology: user friendly interface and voice quality. In the same year, Espia defines a structured channel approach: supplì agreements with Italian wholesalers are signed and a new progam for dealers ia created:VoiSmart Quality Partner.
